Entrepreneurship Development Programme

Next Gen Entrepreneurs, 22 July,2022

An Entrepreneurship development program was conducted on 22nd of July 2022, coordinating with Global Incubation Services (GINSERV). The agenda of this event was to empower the next generation of Entrepreneurs showing them a scope of channelizing their carrier to become an entrepreneur.

There were 40 students participated (list of students and their attendance sheet is been attached) and 6 speakers addressing the students on inspiring innovations in the field of entrepreneurship and development. (Please find attached the agenda copy for reference)

Mr. Naveen Lakkur, founder of Institute of Inspiring Innovation, spoke on enabling Entrepreneurial mind-set, idea validation, channelizing the thoughts towards innovation, setting up objectives and goals towards Entrepreneurship journey and how incubation centers can be a supportive pillars in neutering the start-ups.

Mr. Surajit Sinha, Mr. Gaurav Chinnvar, Mr. Saurya Mishra, Mr. Roshan Raj and Mr. Abhijit Nair were other speakers speaking about their journey in becoming an Entrepreneur. Each story was inspectional life lessons to students by hearing the speaker’s entrepreneurial journey and how they end up building their own Startups.

At the end of the session, the students were charged up with energy and excitement in knowing the scopes of even becoming an Entrepreneur themselves. (I have attached a questionnaire feedback from the students stating their feedback of the program and their idea towards entrepreneurship)

Entreprerna Connect, 28 Sep,2022

Around 33 students and faculties from various departments of JSSATE, Bengaluru were mobilised by JSSATE-STEP to attend ‘Entreprerna Connect’ on 28th of September 2022 at GINSERV.
The Agenda of this event is to inspire students and capacitate the faculties about Entrepreneurship. Mr. Madhusudan Ekambaram the CEO of KreditBee addressed the gathering by narrating the journey of KreditBee. His talk was mostly focussed on funds and Venture Capitalists connects. He narrated his Entrepreneurial journey highlighting the challenges he faced and the strategies he took to overcome them. His entrepreneurial journey started from 4 employees to 450 employees. It was very inspiring and brought thought provoking insights to the audience.

The Second session comprised of panel discussions on ‘ONDC-Open Networks for Digital Commerce’ the Nest phase of evolution in eCommerce. There were 4 panelists namely:
Mr. Anup Pai, Fintech Entrepreneur and Angel Investor, Mr. Ravinder Singh Mahori, CTO, eSamudaay.com, Mr. Girish Pai, CEO, Growthfalcons.com and Mr. Arvind Shekar, CPO,Gogappi.com.
Discussed on next phase of evolution in E-Commerce which was an eye opener to the students. Various questions were put forth to them which was clearly explained by the panellists. Students & faculties felt that the session was very useful and informative.
