Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Park (STEP) is a part of JSS Mahavidyapeeta established in the year 2000, to assist research based company / organisation / entrepreneurs to set up base and benefit by using the facilities of JSSATEB such as IOTs, Labs, Library, Workshop units, machineries, etc. Entrepreneurial ventures translating ideas from the academic research to bring practical benefits to communities have been supported from an early phase of JSSATEB-STEP activities.
Several other incubation-related activities have grown from the culture of entrepreneurship:
Entrepreneurship training programmes like Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC), Faculty Development Programmes (FDP), Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme (WEDP), Technology Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) funded by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India through DST-NIMAT scheme.
Online Entrepreneurship training programmes like Faculty Development Programmes (FDP), Technology Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) funded by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Workshop on Venture Creation to provide a platform for Young graduates to aspire in becoming Entrepreneur by converting their business ideas into a commercial entity
Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes to launch the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club.
Skill Development training programmes to promote Entrepreneurship sponsored by Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Karnataka.
Entrepreneurship Awareness camp sponsored by NSTED- EDI, department of Science and Technology under DST - NIMAT Scheme
